by Noel Coward

In a bid to gather background information for his latest novel, author Charles Condomine invites the delightfully eccentric medium Madame Arcati to stage a seance. Whilst trances, a trembling table and other supernatural manifestations prove entertaining for Charles, his wife Ruth, the sceptical Dr Bradman and the wide-eyed and excitable Mrs Bradman, events take an unexpected and hilarious turn when Charles is faced with the ghost of his first wife, Elvira. He is the only one who can see her and hear her, leading to accusations of hallucinations, alcoholism and insanity. Once Charles manages to prove to Ruth that Elvira’s spirit is present, petty jealousies arise between the two wives followed by a number of mysterious ‘accidents’. Noel Coward’s supernatural comedy never fails to delight with its twists and turns.

Is Charles’ life in danger? Will his wives ever stop bickering with him? Can Madame Arcati save the day? Come along to find out…
