Set in Glasgow in 1973, this gritty drama follows James Gillespie (William Eadie), a sensitive 12-year-old boy who is haunted by a secret. Drawn to the local canal, he befriends Margaret Anne (Leanne Mullen), a vulnerable 14-year-old girl, and Kenny (John Miller), who possesses an unusual innocence in spite of the harsh surroundings.
