Israeli-born pianist Ariel Lanyi is an inaugural grand prize winner of the 2021 Young Classical Artists Trust (London) and Concert Artists Guild (New York) International Auditions. In 2023 he was honoured to receive the Prix Serdang, a Swiss prize awarded by the distinguished Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder, and was also recognised as one of Classic FM’s Rising Stars.

After a hugely successful 2023/24 season in which he made his debut at the Frankfurt Alte Opera as part of their debut concert series, Merkin Hall in New York, and in concerto with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Ariel will continue to enjoy a busy and varied performance career.

Highlights of the 2024/25 season include his debut with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra as part of the Grafenegg Festival, a residency at the Sanguine Estate Music Festival in Australia, and performances at both the Lucerne Festival and Lockenhaus Festival.

Programme includes:

Beethoven: Sonata in G major, Op. 31/1
Schumann: Gesange der Fruhe, Op. 133
