This biographical drama chronicles the early life of Richard Jenkins, a wild young schoolboy from Port Talbot who grew up to become acclaimed Welsh actor Richard Burton. Toby Jones stars as Philip Burton, a schoolmaster who inspires Richard to meet his potential, despite being derailed by family troubles, the pressure of war and his own lack of discipline. Also starring Harry Lawtey, Lesley Manville and Aimee-Ffion Edwards.
