Samarès Players are delighted to return to the beautiful gardens with one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies, Twelfth Night (or What You Will).
Mischief, mayhem, and mistaken identity give us the laughs whilst the love triangle (or is it quadrangle?) gives us a romantic thread that weaves the tangled mess together and pulls on the heartstrings. With every character fuelled by desire, not everyone will get their happy ending. Unrequited love can leave some bitter and tormented, others seeking violent revenge! Shakespeare’s genius plot really does have it all!
Since music is the food of love… what better way to bring the bard to life for a certain demographic, than to set it in the 80s? Listen out for some mix-tape classics that complement the story-telling of our multi-talented cast.
