Locally born, internationally renowned singer Dawn Joseph will deliver top-class performances of Rhythm and Blues, Soul and Motown classics from artists like Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye. Featuring a superb twelve-piece collaborative band comprising local and off-island musicians. A guaranteed crowd-pleasing show not to be missed.
Dawn Joseph has been a backing vocalist for soul, pop and r’n’b greats such as Michael McDonald, Cee Lo Green, Kylie, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Rick Astley and Michael Buble.
In 2009 Dawn briefly replaced Marcella Detroit in Shakepears Sister for their album launch, shortly before joining Spandau Ballet for their comeback Reformation World Tour. In 2012 she successfully fronted The Brand New Heavies, then in 2016 along with founder member Jan Kincaid, formed new band MF Robots. Dawn is no stranger to the stage. Being a background singer to the biggest stars in the world for over 10 years, it’s time for her to step out front.

• The concerts and park events often sell-out: be sure to book early!
• You are welcome to picnic
• Seating is provided, although you may wish to bring your own picnic blankets or chairs.
• Please arrive by bike, on foot, by public transport (Bus 12a or 15), or park your car with plenty of time to spare as Millbrook playing field is no longer available!
• Evening performances will finish at 9pm
• Please dress suitably as performances will go ahead whatever the weather
• Refunds will only be offered if a performance / concert is cancelled
