A relaxed performance is a theatre show designed especially for people who find the traditional theatre setting challenging. It is a show that has been adapted to suit those who might require a more relaxed environment. The sound and lighting will be adapted to ease any over-stimulation of the senses. There will be more space in the auditorium to allow for wheelchair users, and additional facilities for our neurodiverse audience members.
Based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture, Shrek – The Musical is a Tony Award-winning magical adventure featuring all-new songs from Jeanine Tesori and a side-splitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage…and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears!
