Our Festival 40 Weekend concludes with a concert by local favourites, Retro Gramophone – a band who supported Jersey Arts Centre with music during the reduced capacity days of 2021 and at our Coronation Park Concert Series in 2022. Imagine an old and well-loved vintage style gramophone given a new lease of life, playing only the finest jazz music – but with a twist. Retro Gramophone marry contemporary music with the feel of the twenties, thirties and forties. Think Bon Jovi sung by Billie Holiday, Lady Gaga by Louis Armstrong or The Backstreet Boys by Benny Goodman. With fantastic dancers from Platinum Arts, and the odd special guest, expect the unexpected and be entertained from start to finish. This really is a concert not to be missed!
