13th Parish is delighted to present a programme of eight short films made in Jersey or made elsewhere by Jersey filmmakers. The programme includes animations, music videos, documentaries, drama and even a ‘fan film’. Many of the filmmakers will be present at the screening to introduce their films. A perfect opportunity to find out what’s happening here locally!

Displacement Part 1 – Ice

Two short animations dealing with environmental issues and the threat to the planet. ‘Displacement Part 1’ looks at global warming and ‘Displacement Part 2’ at the despoiling of ancient forests and habitats.

Shot entirely on Jersey and taking the Jerriais word for water as its title, the film explores the complex and interwoven human relationships with water on the Island.
