Last year an expedition to the remote and wild Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica built a bridge into a national park using planks of recycled plastic waste. Dental help and other aid was given to local indigenous people. Wildlife studies revealed a large number of remarkably tame beasts in this stunningly beautiful “Garden of Eden”. The 15-strong team was led by Colonel John Blashford-Snell who will describe the venture with film and slides.
