For Burning Not Sending is a theatre performance developed by Esther Rose Parkes during residency at Jersey Arts Centre, based on her ‘sonic response’ to Clare Ormsby’s 2025 exhibition Fallowfield – originally commissioned by ArtHouse Jersey.
Blending song, spoken word, poetry and storytelling to explore grief, fallow time and slow renewal, drawing closely on Ormsby’s writings, visual language and burned doll’s house.
Brought to life by the vocal talents of Alex Alderton, Kaye Noella Nicholson and Esther Rose Parkes.
