Sometimes, dreams do come true! Born and educated in Jersey, at 13 Carol dreamt of going to Oxford and publishing a volume of poetry. She went to Oxford and, after an adult lifetime of bipolar, her first volume was published in 2025. Birthing Dancing Stars is a record of her recent journey exploring subjects ranging from healing from mental illness to nature, to Jersey beaches, to climate change. Some fellow poets join Carol in celebrating this new volume of poetry by reading from their own work and helping Carol read hers. Carol is coming home to the Benjamin Meaker Theatre where she acted with ACT for ten years between 2003 and 2013.
