Born in France, Armand studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon and with Philippe Tondre at the Hochschule für Musik Saar. In 2021, he was a prize-winner at the Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) International Auditions. Nominated as a 2022 Rising Star Artist by Classic FM, this season Armand returns to the Queen Elizabeth Hall and St. Georges Bristol as soloist, performing the Vaughan Williams Oboe Concerto with Chineke. Solo and chamber music highlights include recitals at Wigmore Hall, Berlin Konzerthaus, the Lammermuir Festival and Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
