Ange, a footloose musician, feels a vital need to track down and make peace with his old friend Marco. Solea, the rebellious daughter of his former lover tags along on his journey. Together, they will rediscover the path to joy through chance moments of happiness and musical celebration.

Romani Music, wide open spaces, unexpected encounters; welcome to the world of Tony Gatlif’s new film. The celebrated Algerian-Franco-Romani filmmaker has built a career exploring identity, exile and the unifying power of music. From his Cannes-awarded Gadjo Dilo to the internationally acclaimed Latcho Drom and Exils, his films have given poetic voice to Romani culture and the restless spirit of wandering. With his new work, he returns once more to music and movement as conduits for joy, reconciliation and freedom.
