A Classical Crossover

Presented by Music Managed
  • 15 August 7pm
Coronation Park

An evening of class, sophistication and the highest quality of music.

The concert opens with Wonderbrass, a twelve-piece brass and percussion ensemble, performing a set of the very best film and show music. Then you will be treated to a performance from Classical Brit nominees, Ida. As seen on BBC One and ITV, these four stunning sopranos bring you a collection of re-worked operatic arias, chart-topping hits, and musical theatre favourites. Ida’s impressive versatility within these musical genres has seen them performing their mesmerising show across the continents, on the West End, and for royalty at Windsor Castle.

As Classical Brit nominees, they’ve been hailed as ‘remarkable’ and ‘breath-taking’ by Official London Theatre and ‘quite incredible’ by Gary Barlow. The girls went straight into the Classical Charts with their critically acclaimed album ‘Believe’. From West End Live in Trafalgar Square to headlining festivals in Australia, their recent video ‘Stars: A Les Mis Medley’ has been viewed over 100,000 times across social media. As a proud Jersey girl, Ida member Georgi Mottram was thrilled that the group performed their show at Jersey Opera House and at Government House. Ida has most recently been seen on ITV’s new show ‘Walk the Line’.
