Jersey Arts Centre’s Honorary Patron for 2023 – 2027 is acclaimed performer and playwright, Tim Crouch.

Tim Crouch performed his award-winning solo show Truth’s A Dog Must to Kennel at Jersey Arts Centre’s Festival 40 anniversary celebrations in January 2023; I, Malvolio in May 2023; An Oak Tree in February 2024, with Jenny McCarthy making her Tim Crouch debut; and will be returning once again for our playdays Children’s Festival with I, Peaseblossom on 21 + 22 July 2025.

The honour of being Jersey Arts Centre’s new Honorary Patron is all mine. From many years of international touring, there are few arts venues I know that combine a progressive and genuinely inclusive programme of live performance with such a cherished place in their community”, says Tim. “Jersey is lucky to have an arts organisation that punches so brilliantly above its weight. I’m delighted to be able to deepen my relationship with it and to offer what support I can to further its success.”

Tim Crouch is an internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning writer, director, performer and theatre-maker. His plays include: My Arm; An Oak Tree; ENGLAND; The Author; I, Malvolio; I, Cinna (the poet); Adler & Gibb; Beginners; Total Immediate Collective Imminent Terrestrial Salvation; Superglue; and Truth’s a Dog Must to Kennel. Tim created and co-wrote Don’t Forget the Driver, a six-part series for BBC2 which won Best TV Comedy at the Venice TV awards in 2019. He first performed at Jersey Arts Centre in 1990.
