Drawing and painting on location is the foundation of Mick’s work. This exhibition is a collection of his works made directly on paper in urban, rural and coastal settings. Mick is also showing original lino prints, etchings and monoprints conceived from this source material. His aim is to convey a strong personal sense of place, paying attention to closely observed incidental detail.
Mick is based in Greenwich, London, in a studio next to the river at Thames-Side Studios, Woolwich. He exhibits in both solo and group shows, including several appearances at the RA Summer Exhibition.
