Freelance war correspondent and photographer Lalage Snow has documented ‘War Gardens’, a testimony to the triumph of the human spirit in adversity; in ‘The Bumblebee Flies Anyway’, Kate Bradbury records transforming her decked, barren backyard in Brighton into a beautiful wildlife garden; and in Tor Udall’s novel ‘A Thousand Paper Birds’, five lives interweave in a year at Kew Gardens. The three writers will discuss gardens as oases in a panel chaired by blogger Naomi Frisby.
