Laura Newey is a young composer and pianist. She won a residency as a composer with the National Youth Orchestra in 2016, and her compositions have been performed at the Barbican, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, and Birmingham Symphony Hall. As a pianist she has recently performed at the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and the Sheldonian in Oxford.
