Do you know your Baroque from Rococo? And the Ancien Regime? Ever wondered who created three dimensional paintings and perspective in Renaissance art? And would you like to study Picasso’s painting that changed the art world and started the Cubist movement? Lisa Oxenden-Wray, graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art will take you on a visual journey from the earliest known Lascaux Cave paintings through the Renaissance, the Dutch Golden Age and Impressionism to Surrealist Marcel Du Champs’ controversial “urinal” up to today’s New Artists, such as Damien Hirst.

Join Lisa on her course for an informative and exciting journey through the history of art. Perfect for those with a practical knowledge of art, as well as those interested in the historical aspect, this course will broaden your artistic horizons and maybe even inform your own work.
