Do you know your Baroque from Roccoco? Ever wondered who created three dimensional paintings in Renaissance art? Would you like to study Picasso’s painting that started the Cubist movement? Lisa Oxenden-Wray, a graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art, will take you on a visual journey of the earliest known Lascaux Cave paintings through the Renaissance, the Dutch Golden Age and Impressionism to Surrealist Marcel Du Champs’ controversial urinal, up to today’s New Artists, such as Damien Hirst.

An informative and exciting journey through the history of art. Perfect for those with a practical knowledge of art, as well as those interested in the historical aspect, this course will broaden your artistic horizons and maybe even inform your own work.
