ACT presents a classic tale from the quill of England’s greatest dramatist. The lovely, yet lowly, Helena has her heart set on the noble, but petulant, Count Bertram of Rousillon. Unfortunately for her, those feelings are in no way reciprocated by him; indeed he spurns her as he would spurn the proverbial rabid dog! Nevertheless, when the Count departs his ancestral home to take his place at the court of the ailing French King she follows with a cunning plan to win his hand in marriage – whether he likes it or not!
